He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Younggreen and Imogene Mazzio (Beauchamp); his wife Carolyn Boggs; and his siblings, Gene, Jack Younggreen, Ester Ranns and Betty Bechinski.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Younggreen of Knox, Donna Hardel (Ted) of Knox and Diann Sheets (Wes) of Winamac; his grandchildren, Ashley Hardel of Knox, Michael James Hardel (Sarah) of Knox, Britney Marovich (Jordan) of Knox and Alexis Stark (Payton) of Winamac; his great grandchildren, Hayden Hardel of Knox, Addysyn Hardel of Knox, Ryker Hardel of Knox and Dean Fulghum of Knox; his brother Pat Younggreen (Fay) of Michigan City; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Boggs (Betty) of Knox, Ed Boggs (Marsha) of Knox and Steve Ranns of Michigan City, Indiana..
