She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bickel and Ilo Van Kirk Bickel; her husband William "Bill" Runkle; and her sister Sharon Humes. She is survived by: her children, Rose Arndt of Chetek and Clifford "Cliff" Runkle (Denice); her grandchildren, William "Will" Runkle, Clayton Arndt, Mark Runkle and Jaimee Giron; and her siblings, Roger Bickel, Randy Bickel (Buggs), Sheila "Short" Vanlue and Melody Bohna. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Beachside Tavern Dining Room, Bass Lake Bass.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Runkle Family Scholarship fund or a charity of choice.
