She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Clabaugh Jr. and Dorothy Clabaugh Teske (Demont); her husband Edward Dembowski; her brother Donald Jay Clabaugh; and her grandsons, Connor Dembowski and Ryan Greer.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Dembowski of Knox, Rebecca Czarnecki of Knox and Patrick Dembowski of Muncie; and her brothers, Tommy Clabaugh of Louisiana, Terry Clabaugh of Crown Point and Daniel Clabaugh of Nevada. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Nancy J. Dembowski Community Center (55 E Lake St, Knox, IN 46534).

Memorials may be made in her memory to the Starke County Youth Club, PO Box 442, Knox, Indiana 46534.
