He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Dean Grubbs and Ralpha Grubbs (Waymire). He is survived by: his wife Carol L. Grubbs; his children, Sara Preston (Daniel) of Minnesota, Evan Grubbs of Texas and Bryan Whittinghill (Lauren) of Shelbyville; his sister Betty Jo Copeland (Mark); and his grandchildren, Raven, Wren, Daniel Preston, Zechariah, Elena, Sofia, Bret, Isabel and Maxine Whittinghill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
