He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Ols and Pauline Ols (Fisher); and his siblings, Chris, John Ols, Betty Hollandsworth, Patty Matzat, Dolly Matzat, Joan Ols and Mary Ann Shroeder.

He is survived by: his son Kevin Ols of Lakeville; his grandchildren, Mike Ols (Jessica) of Norfolk, Brianna Foreman of Lakeville, Jake Ols of South Bend and Josh Ols of North Liberty; and his sisters, Jean Phistry of Knox and Jane Ols of Knox, Indiana.. He is also survived by 5 great- grandchildren.
