He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe E Allen and Marilyn Allen (Miller); and his siblings, Joe, Ed Allen, Bertha Pfeifer and Pamela Miley.
He is survived by: his wife Cathleen Pfeifer of Knox; his children, Robert Allen of Argos, Daniel Allen of Hammond, Jim Allen (Crystal) of Hammond, Nancy Micheli (Anthony) of Menifee and Kimberly Allen of Knox; and his brother Donald Allen of Waterloo, Alabama.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
