He is survived by: his wife Jean Kawaguchi of Knox; his children, Robert Kawaguchi (Teresa) of Portland, Michelle Dolezal (Lenny) of Knox and Susan Siroky (Steve) of Gold Canyon; his grandchildren, Jake Kawaguchi of Portland, Jennifer Dolezal of Knox and Mark Dolezal of Knox; his sisters, Teresa Kawaguchi of Knox and Gloria Ballard (Dick) of Knox; and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Kawaguchi of Batesville, Vickie Runkle of Knox, Patty Lambert (Rick) of Laporte, Thomas Wagers (Shanell) of Knox and Markus.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Braman & Son Memorial Chapel (108 S Main St, Knox, IN 46534). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
