He is survived by: his wife Rose Madsen (Fort) of Knox, Indiana; his children, Kenneth Madsen (Kristin) of Valparaiso, Indiana, Barbara Burkett (Curtis) of North Judson and Pamela Callahan (Jay) of North Judson, Indiana; and his siblings, Robert Madsen (Joanne) of San Pierre, Michael Madsen of North Judson, Indiana and Carol Karsten (John) of Winamac, Indiana.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
