She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Cole and Ruby Mae Cole-Jimmerson (Arnett); her husband William Samuels; her granddaughter Stephanie; her great grandchild Zachary; her son-in-law Guy Sr.; and the father of her children Leon Thomas Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Beauchamp, Debra Cunningham (Ed), Rita Brettin (Tim), Leon Thomas Jr. (Latisha) and James Thomas; and her siblings, Ed, Lonnie, Mary, Phyllis and Donna. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fletcher Cemetery (E 400 N & N 700 E, Oregon Township, IN 46532).
