He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hoernig and Rosellen Hoernig; and his son Dustin Keaton Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Hoernig; his children, Krystle Hoernig, Donnie Keaton, Katherine Hoernig and David Hoernig; his grandchildren, Dustin Jr., Cameron, Josie, Dominick, Drita, Dmitri, Mateo and Gage; and his siblings, Timothy Hoernig (Pamela), George Hoernig, Patrick Hoernig (Lynn), Bryan Hoernig, Judy Pitchford (Shannon) and Bethanne Smith (Gregg).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart, IN 46342). The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
