He was predeceased by: his father Gary Patchett; his siblings, Kimberlee Patchett and Scott Patchett; and his grandparents, Louie and Anita Schmidt.

He is survived by: his mother Deborah Patchett (Schmidt) of Kokomo; his nephew Christopher Patchett (Sabdi) of California; and his uncle Mike Schmidt (Carolyn) of Kokomo.
