He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stewart and Mattie Frances Gibson (Bell); his daughter Susan Glenn Gibson; his close friend John Crow; his son Jeffrey A. Rinehart; his close friends, Jerry and Karen Caylor; his former wife Shelby Gibson; his siblings, Betty Greenwood, G. S. Gibson, Francis Rayl and Mary Ann Thresher; and his sons-in-law, Mark Dzuba and Richard Gregory.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Ellen White and Elizabeth Ann Bralley (Mark); his close friend Ann Faye; his wife Judith Ann; his daughters, Suzan K. Gregory (Richard) and Julia A. Johnson (Steve); his brothers, J. B. and Billy J. Gibson; and his grandchildren, Kylie Adams (Parker), Wesley White (Taylor), Shelby Capper (Tyler), Bradley Miller, Brandon Miller, Barry Miller (Becky), Samantha Johnson and Brian Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ellers Mortuary (3400 S Webster St, Kokomo, IN 46902). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
