He was predeceased by: his sister Stacey Howerton. He is survived by: his son Clay Silence (Beth) of Kokomo; his sisters, Jody Smith (Denny) of Tipton and Shelly McWhirt (Rusty) of Frankfort; and his grandson Bennett Silence. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Young-Nichols Funeral Home (216 W Jefferson St, Tipton, IN 46072). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
