Carl George Ellis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl George Ellis of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sr. Ellis and Marie Proctor; his siblings, Ella Zimla (Don), Shirley Peele (Bob Sr.) and Samuel Ellis; his stepfather Wayne Proctor; and his parents-in-law, Mary, George Alesky, Donald and Liz Conaway.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Rahl (Bill), Bryan Ellis (Ruthie) and Jamie Ellis; his grandchildren, Brittany Rahl Coleman (Jared), Amanda Hooper (Kenneth), Jessica Koon, Eric Walden, Jayce Ellis (Nikki) and Julien Ellis; his great grandchildren, Christian, Brooke Walden, Ivy, Oak, Patience Walden, Natalie Gatliff, Emma Rahl, Jaydon Koon, Mercedes Plata (Abraham), Kristen, Noah Hooper, Alexsander Acosta and Jameson Huston Ellis; his great great grandchildren, Maverick and Layla Plata; his in-laws, Elaine Ellis (family: Bill, Ginger Conaway), Gene and Liz Conaway; his sibling's children, Teresa Newson (Zimla) and Bob Peele Jr.; and his family, Amanda Hooper, Lacey Starkey and Carl.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory (1315 W Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, IN 46902). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
