She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Broadley and Ethel Broadley (Peel); her husband David "Gene" Newton; her grandchildren, Jonathan Newton and Sarah Newton; and her son-in-law Dave Sitzes.
She is survived by: her children, Leesa Hedger (Michael) of Kokomo, Mark Newton of Omaha, Greg Newton (Wendy) of Hayfork, Brian Newton of Kansas City, Kimberly Sitzes of Logansport and Mike Newton (Angie) of Kokomo; her great great grandchild Spring; and her siblings, Tom Broadley of Santa Fe and Rebecca Ratliff of Goshen, Indiana.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ellers Mortuary & Cremation Center (3400 S Webster St, Kokomo, IN 46902). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
