With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles David Showalter (Kokomo, Indiana), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, David R. Showalter and Janet M. Showalter (Hicks); and his parents-in-law, Gerry Harlow and Virginia Harlow. He is survived by: his wife Melinda S. Showalter; his children, Kristin Matthews (Mike), David Seitz (Jessica), Douglas Showalter (Joanna) and Ryan Showalter; his grandchildren, Madeline McCauley (Molly), Meghan McCauley (Evan), Matthew McCauley, Anna Seitz, Allison Seitz, Irene Showalter, Alice Showalter and Russell Showalter; his mother-in-law Mary Ellyn Harlow; his sister Barbara Pakula (Harold); his nephew Alex Pakula; his sister-in-law Liz Harper (Ron); and his pet Maggie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
