He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Byrd (Stephen), Christine (Jason) and Heather Pickens (Chris Cooprider); his sister Peggy Martino (John) of Burlington; and his grandchildren, Jakob Byrd, Noah Byrd, Levi Byrd, Oliver Byrd, Thatcher Pickens, Wyatt Pickens, Grace Stanley, Ameliah Stanley, Cecilia Stanley, Lillian Pickens and Samantha Grove.
