He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wayne and Esther Silvey (Klienman); his sisters, Joann Silvey Batta and Marjorie Jean Shafner; and his stepson Anthony Allan Tarr.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Silvey; his sons, Steve Silvey (Sally), Scott Silvey (Janette) and Shawn Silvey (Cindy); and his stepchildren, Jeff Baire, Teresa West (J. R.), Kathy Tarr and Bethany Palmer (Scott). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kokomo Humane Society or the First Friends Meeting.
