He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Bandt and Nathalie Bandt (Clocksene); his wife Gerry; and his daughters, Renee Dollar, Coleen Brenton (Bob) and Brenda Howard (Bruce). He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Victory Christian Academy in Kokomo, Indiana.
