With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Slater (Kokomo, Indiana), born in Kempton, Indiana, who passed away on May 5, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Earl and Bonnie Lillian Slater (Cox); his sisters, Betty L. Shields (Don) and Beulah R. Dryer (Don); his brother-in-law Charles Nettleton; and his nephews, Eddie and Larry Shields.

He is survived by: his wife Della Elizabeth Haynes; his children, Regina K. Floyd and Mark Slater (Christina); his grandchildren, Doran M. Slater, Kailin Kenworthy, Kiersten E. Slater, Xavier McQuiston and Oliver McQuiston; his sister Norma K. Nettleton; and his siblings-in-law, Kate Whitis and Jamie Bishop. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
