It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Esther McDermott (Kokomo, Indiana), who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Norman and Esther Norman; her husband Leo McDermott; and her brothers, Dwight Norman and Ed Norman.

She is survived by: her children, Michael McDermott (Cathy), Andrew McDermott (Anne) and Sara George (Randal); her grandchildren, Adam McDermott (Mary), Rachelle Chapman (Kyle), Hannah Treadway (Jared), Aaron McDermott, Abigail Armstrong (Nicholas), Austin McDermott (Hannah), Meredith Green (Benjamin), Megan Rao (Lance) and Fida George; and her brother Richard Norman (Avis). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
