It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edythe J. Johnson of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Edythe shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edythe farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora L. Davis and Hazel Davis (DeCourcey); her son Anthony A. Tompkins; and her siblings, Betty Trusty and Bob Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, William A. Tompkins of Middleton, David W. Tompkins of Knox and John L. Tompkins of Tipton; and her sister Sandra Hotzel of New Castle. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
