She was predeceased by: her parents, Gifford King and Lela King (Obanion); her husband John Turnpaugh; and her siblings, Mary, Joe, Ruth and Anna.

She is survived by: her children, Travis Klumpp, Dale Klumpp and Stacy Bentley; her grandchildren, Madison Alexander, Damon Klumpp (Cynthia), Eryn Bentley, Jessica Bentley, Breanna Bentley, Kinzi Turnpaugh, Ty Turnpaugh and Bracey Turnpaugh; her great grandchild Susie Vervaet; and her sister Linda Paul (Martin). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
