He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Swinson and Sarah Florence Swinson (Heath); his wife Lois Jean Swinson (Hunter); and his aunt Velma Chadwick. He is survived by: his children, Paul Swinson (Natalie), Steven Swinson (Stacey) and Jean Waldron (Tim Hargrove); his grandchildren, Alexis Smith (Josh), Tony Swinson (Andrea), Saxon Swinson (Heather), Shayden Swinson, Gracie Waldron, Haylie Waldron (Kayden Boles) and Merrik Hargrove; his great grandchildren, Elijah Smith, Noah Smith, Emilia Swinson, Cooper Swinson and Isabel Swinson; and his sisters, Fay Johnson (Wayne) and Ann Tingle. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bridgeway Church (1401 E Hoffer St, Kokomo, IN 46902). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
