Frieda M. Wenger Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frieda M. Wenger of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frieda M. Wenger to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Sumpter and Myrtle Sumpter (Allen); her husband Joseph W. Wenger; her siblings, Joe Sumpter, Jim Sumpter and Hazel Cherry (John); her siblings-in-law, Rosemary Morrison, June Ann Imbler (Clarke) and Gene Wenger (Carol); her grandchildren, Holly Durham and Tony Wenger; and her parents-in-law, Volena Wenger (Joe) and Joseph R. Wenger.

She is survived by: her children, Greg Wenger (Jacquelyn), Connie Tilley (Steve) and Susan Durham (Mike); and her grandchildren, Erica Yerkes (Paul), Olivia Wenger, Amy Cobbins (Marcus), Joe Tilley (Kamie) and Mike Durham (Julie Lytle). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any local Humane Society or American Diabetes Association.
