Gayla Dawn Lemke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gayla Dawn Lemke (Kokomo, Indiana), born in Knox, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Anna Voreis. She is survived by: her father Clyde Gale; her husband Jim Lemke; her daughters, Julie Klepinger (Tony) and Jackie Weaver (Rick); her grandchildren, Reese, Reagan Klepinger, Cali, Mya and Adeline Weaver; and her siblings, Gerri Voreis and Gary Voreis.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer (705 E Southway Blvd, Kokomo, IN 46902). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Albright Cemetery (3910 Albright Rd, Kokomo, IN 46902).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Redeemer Lutheran School or Kokomo Rescue Mission.
