He was predeceased by: his parents, Irl Fivecoate and Grace Fivecoate (Stafford); his son Troy Fivecoate; his brothers, Roy Fivecoate and Leonard Fivecoate; and the mother of his children Candace Fivecoate-Gaby (Ronald Gaby).

He is survived by: his son Todd Fivecoate (Heather); his grandchildren, Morgan Fivecoate, Jack Fivecoate (Gisela), Mara Fivecoate (Brennen Maple) and Ashley Fortune; and his siblings, Joan Kraner (Charles), Clarence Fivecoate (Judith), Lloyd Fivecoate (Sue), Eldon Fivecoate (Karen) and Clyde Fivecoate. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
