He was predeceased by: his parents, Hunter Chandler and Mary Ester Chandler (King); his brothers, Herbert Ray, Milford (Vivian) and Bruce (Clara); and his parents-in-law, Iona and Dale Vawter.
He is survived by: his wife Beulah Margaret Vawter; his sons, Patrick Chandler (Karen), Mike Chandler and Russell Chandler (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Kyle Chandler (Beth), Emily Parker (Nathan), Megan Chandler, Liz Johnson (John), Caroline Miller (Steve), Katee Hershberger (Logan) and Derek Chandler. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Clay's memory to Mrs. Claus Foundation in Kokomo.
