With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James D Richards of Kokomo, Indiana, born in Fordsville, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fountain Richards and Flora Richards; his brothers, Fountain Jr. (Buster), Bruce and Charles Richards; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Jr., Alexander and Katherine Bird.
He is survived by: his children, James Richards (Greg) of Kankakee, IL, Robert Richards (Holly) of Frankfort, IN and Tricia Bird (Jonathan) of LaGrange, IN; his grandsons, Sean (Kelsey), Ian Richards (Jade), Gavin Richards, William and Gabriel Bird; and his brother Joe Richards (Connie).
In place of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to St. Jude's or Shriners' cancer research.
