He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Bauder and Ruth Bauder (Schanbacher); his brother Timothy Bauder; and his aunt Helen Akst (Bob). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bauder (Hayes); his children, Rachel Moore (Robert Humble), Tiffany Ebert (Jeremy) and Jamie Bauder; his grandchildren, Isabell Bauder, Deborah Moore, Kaylie Ebert, Jeremy Ebert Jr., Cadance Ebert, Bentley Ebert, Railynne Moore and Noah Bauder; and his sister Elaine Bauder.
