It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Benzinger of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janet may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil B. Smith and Jessie Smith (Williams); her son Brian; and her siblings, Maudie, Robin and Mike.
She is survived by: her sons, Brett and Bart (Melody); her sisters, Rita and Becky Smith; her sister-in-law Becky Dobbins; and her close friend Dianne Goble. She is also survived by 3 nephews, 2 nieces; 1 great-niece; 1 great-nephew.
