She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Roach and Rose M. Roach (Purvis); her son Joseph Anthony "Tony" Nelson; and her grandparents, Rev. Stanley and Irene Purvis.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Markley (Mark) of Kokomo, IN; her daughter-in-law Shanna Nelson of Bourbon, IN; and her siblings, Steven Roach (Peggy) of Derby, KS, Mark A. Roach of Kokomo, IN and Cassandra "Sandy" Smith of Kokomo, IN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 18 nieces and nephews.
