It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jedd Alan Carey of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Elias. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Stilwell; his mother Mary "Babe" Carey (Neiheisal); his children, Sarah Hodgin (Matt), Zach Carey and Kristen Rodrey (Brian); his grandchildren, Layla Hodgin, Cole Hodgin, Dane Hodgin, Jocelyn Hodgin and Cosette Rodrey; and his siblings, Stacy Dudeck (Randy), Greg Carey (Michelle) and Susan King (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shirley & Stout Funeral Home-Jefferson Street Chapel (414 W Jefferson St, Kokomo, IN 46901). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Shirley & Stout Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses. Please consider making a donation to raise much needed funds to cover the funeral expenses.
