It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jerry Lee Yard of Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 86, on April 12, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Benjamin Franklin and Mary Louise Yard (Guge); his siblings, Bob Yard (Margaret), Benny Yard, Ralph Yard, Freddy Yard and Debbie Blakely; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Osborne and Thomas Aaron.

He is survived by : his wife Sondra Pierce; his children, Connie Jolliffe (Barry), Jerry Yard Jr. (Christy), Rick Yard (Sherry) and Susan Ragan (Bryan); his grandchildren, Melissa Williams (Phil), Bryan Jolliffe (Kala), Jamie Markley (Justin), Sarah Markley (Ryan), Joseph Yard, Craig Yard (Emily Greer), Brandon Yard (Megan), Nathan Yard (Ashley), Matt Cook (Danielle), Jacob Cook, Carisa Richardson (Eric) and Cliff Ragan; and his siblings, Bill Yard (Bonnie), Charles Yard (Carol), Carolyn Aaron, Diana Anderson and Cheryl Yard. He is also survived by 30 Great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shirley & Stout Funeral Homes & Crematory (1315 W Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, IN 46902). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory (1315 W Lincoln Rd, Kokomo, IN 46902).

Contributions may be made in Jerry's memory to Fresh Start Ministries, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
