He was predeceased by: his parents, Orma Handy and Lucille Handy; and his siblings, Don Handy, Sue Beard and Janet Handy.
He is survived by: his wife Stevie; his sister Joyce Welbaum; and his children, Carole Tinsley (Doug), Chris Nichols, Jeff Handy (Sharon) and Jenny Bray. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Beulah Land Church.
