With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katie Butler of Kokomo, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Katie Butler to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie McFarland and Rosie McFarland; and her son Allen Butler (Becky). She is survived by: her daughter Marsha Ridenour (Ron); her grandchildren, Jeremy Ridenour (Nicole), Kristy Carr, Heather Butler and Travis Butler; her great grandchildren, Bradley Carr, Trey Ridenour, Aiden Speerhas and Gunnar Ridenour; her sister Ruby Wilson; and her close friend Janet Overton.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery (2097 W Alto Rd, Kokomo, IN 46902).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Northwoods Village for the annual Alzheimer's Foundation walk.
