He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie "Joe" David Mulkey and Pauline "Polly" Ruth Mulkey (Cothern); his daughter Heidi Mulkey; and his grandson Mason Hopkins. He is survived by: his wife Lora Burke-Mulkey; his children, Brooke Hopkins (Nicholas Hopkins) of Russiaville, Breanne Gingerich (Justin Gingerich) of Chicago and Nathan Mulkey of Kokomo, Indiana; his stepdaughter Emily Burke of Kokomo, Indiana; and his siblings, John Mulkey (Dee) of St. Johns and Anita Taylor (Mulkey) of Tipton, Indiana..
