He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Samson and Margaret Samson (Halcomb); his sister Glenda Hawkins; his granddaughter Gabrielle Satterfield; and his wife Mary Ann Weeks.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kelly Samson (Tim Ezra) and Rebecca Satterfield (Matthew); his grandchildren, Jake Satterfield and Megan Satterfield; and his brothers-in-law, Ken Hawkins and John Weeks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
