He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sitzes and Beulah Sitzes; and his siblings, Velda Mix, Evert Sitzes, David Sitzes and Marlena Rubow.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sitzes; his children, Monica Poole (Mark) and Steve Sitzes (Terri); his stepdaughter Rhonda Fike (John); and his grandchildren, Jordan Poole, Rachel Poole, David Sitzes, Stacey Taylor, Nicholas Sitzes, Macayla Ariza, Brittney Olivas, Jonathon Heath, Chris Heath and Jennifer Heath. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
