She was predeceased by: her father John Merritt; her brother Michael Merritt; and her grandparents, Harry, Normajean Davis, John and Bonnie Merritt.

She is survived by: her mother Vicky Merritt (Davis); her spouse Frankie Sears; her daughter Kaylee Byam (Mitchell); her sister Jodi Cecil (Steve); her stepchildren, Chelsea Clay (Devon), Katie Peoples (Isaiah) and Nick Sears; her grandchildren, Liam Byam, Kokomo, Quinten Clay and Hudson Bere; her aunt Marcy Head (Murl); and her nephew Steven Cecil (Lindsay). She is also survived by several sisters-in-law, cousins, great-niece, great-nephew, and dear friends.
