She was predeceased by: her parents, James G. Staton and Nina "Jo" Staton (Hall); her husband Robert V. Thompson; her siblings, James Staton, Bob Staton, Don Staton, George Staton, Wayne Staton and Shirley Staton; her grandchildren, Brandi Fye and Joey Conwell; and her great great grandchild Ares Vawter.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Thompson-Pygman (Stan Conwell), Jeanette Cross (John Mendenhall) and Bob Thompson Jr. (Mary); and her sister Kate Robins. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
