He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Wilmer and Sharlot Shallenberger (Stanley); and his brothers, Roger and Jerry Shallenberger. He is survived by: his wife Rose M. Costa (Roberts); his children, Matthew Shallenberger (Shannon), Scott Shallenberger (Tabitha), Steve Shallenberger (Latisha), Christy Shallenberger and Susan Shallenberger (Jay); his stepdaughter Renae Killian (Troy); his friend Rusty Ferguson; his sister Linda Shallenberger; John Tice. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
