He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Williams; his children, Donald Eric Nickolson and Deidre Elizabeth Nickolson-Edie; his grandchildren, Alexis Paige Nickolson-Edie and Jasmine Nicole Nickolson-Edie; and his son-in-law Benjamin James Howes.
