It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Ray Benge (Kokomo, Indiana), who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benge and Patty Benge (Quirk); his stepson Michael; his grandson Gage; and his pet Sammy.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Benge; his children, Joe Benge (Tammy), Michelle Doak and Chris Benge (Jamie); his stepchildren, Jennifer Goins (Doug), Daniel Abshire and Carrie Braden (James); and his sisters, Vickie Candlish (Fred) and Marta Oberlander (Jim). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
