She was predeceased by: her siblings, Fred Casteal, Cleveland Carson Casteal Jr., Arthur, Edward, Lionel Casteal, Rachel Pellum, Viola Ledet and Linda Kay Metcalf; and her siblings' children, Rella Chriee Shawnta Hollins and Oasker Hollins Jr..
She is survived by: her husband David Walker; her siblings, Wanda Sue Carter, James Casteal (Tammy), Delphine Hollins (Oasker) and Pamela Buitimea; her sister-in-law Molly Casteal (Herron); her daughters, Tammy Casteal and Dr. Marquita Reid (Recardo Reid); her grandchildren, Khalil Carter (Hunny), Kezia Casteal, Kreshundra Casteal, DeAndre Casteal-Calvert, Christian Calvert, Jaidin Calvert, Tiyahnna Calvert and Caleb Reid; and her siblings' children, Daymon Casteal, Todd Steven Casteal, LaToya Castro, Alexis Casteal and Marquisha Casteal. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
Her spirit of solidarity was embodied in her active participation with UAW Local 685 and various organizations such as The Red Hat Society, the American Cancer Society, and numerous UAW programs.
