Opal Salsbery Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Salsbery of Kokomo, Indiana, born in Sheridan, Indiana, who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Uva Sylvester and Grace Pauline Pickrell (Boone); her husband James Salsbery; her son Richard Salsbery; and her sisters, Gladys Jackson, Velma Moon, Virginia Rushton, Phylis Dietz and Janet Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Dannie Salsbery (Carolyn), Ted Salsbery (Carolyn), Janice Pierce (Bernie), Sharlotte Orem and Keith Salsbery (Becky); her grandchildren, Janelle Love (Salsbery), Troy Salsbery, Shawn Roode, Ryan Tragesser, Nicole Tragesser, Chad Salsbery, Gavin Salsbery, Ann Rounds (Salsbery), Jeff Salsbery, Melissa Garrett (Cooprider), Matt Salsbery and Amanda Isom (Salsbery); and her siblings, Lawrence Pickrell and Roseanna Mathena (Pickrell) of Noblesville. She is also survived by 15 great-grand children and 3 great-great grand children.
