Phillip leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Phillip’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Phillip will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Clingenpeel and Delcie Clingenpeel (Bell). He is survived by: his sister Janice Shrout of Louisville, KY; his nephews, David E. Shrout of Louisville, KY and Mark A. Shrout of Lufkin, TX.; his great-nephews, William H. Shrout and Andrew G. Shrout; and his great-niece Gracie E. Shrout of Lufkin, TX.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Murray Weaver Funeral Home (401 S California St, Galveston, IN 46932). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Galveston Cemetery (12445 County Rd 1000 E, Galveston, IN 46932).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Guardian Angel Hospice of Kokomo in Phillips memory.
