He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Ellen Birnell-McFarland (Morrison) and Harvey E. Birnell; his sister Vickie L. Birnell; and his son Ralph E. Birnell II. He is survived by: his daughter Amber N. Smith; his grandson Lincoln White of Lafayette, IN; his daughter Kerri L. Birnell of Kokomo; his nephew Steve (Karla Birnell) of Kokomo; his aunts and uncles, Jackie, Phillip Weybrant of Kokomo, Ruby and Ray Wilson of Kentucky; and his cousin Becky (Jerry Fitzpatrick).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jefferson Street Chapel, Kokomo Email. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Shirley and Stout Funeral Home, Jefferson Street Chapel (414 W Jefferson St, Kokomo, IN 46901).
