He is survived by: his children, Melissa Mentis (Michael) and Courtney Brindley (Eric); his grandchildren, Josh Mentis (Emily), Alexis Mentis, Megan Mentis, Lincoln Mentis, Eli Brindley and Ella Brindley; and his siblings, John Patterson (Jane), Rita Olander (Bob) and Carolyn Kintner (Dave). He is also survived by three great granddaughters.
