He was predeceased by: his parents, George Huskins and Doshia Lee Huskins; his siblings, George Huskins, Bernice Croy, Joan Dyer, Rosco Huskins, Jimmy Huskins and Doshia Williams; his son Richard Kent Huskins; his son-in-law Kerry Stoops; and his grandson Jacob Stoops.

He is survived by: his children, Tamie Stoops, Cory Huskins (Lisa) and Mistie Huskins (Dan); his grandchildren, Seth Bartrum, Shiann Huskins, Damion O'Neal, Courtney Huskins and Sebastian O'Neal; and his great grandchildren, Sonya Johnson and Katie Huskins.
